WV Sorcerer Productions proudly presents Glass Mind, a new collaborative work between sonic provocateur John Duncan and Shanghai’s long-running harsh noise unit Torturing Nurse.

A towering figure in experimental music and performance since the late 1970s, Duncan has carved an uncompromising path across psychoacoustic research, shortwave manipulation, and extreme live actions. On Glass Mind, his cold, surgically precise synth work is pushed into volatile terrain by Torturing Nurse’s raw sonic aggression — a brutalist dialogue between neurological chaos and audio violence.

Across seven tracks, including one long-form descent and six sharp aftershocks, Glass Mind charts a fractured inner landscape where perception unravels and identity dissolves. Five female vocalists contribute ghostly, fragmented presences, echoing through a clinical storm of static, feedback, and convulsive frequencies.

A confrontation of two methods: rupture and control.
