Toru, an instrumental trio formed in 2019, pushes the boundaries of noise rock by exploring sonic territories at the intersection of experimental metal, noise, and electroacoustics. Composed of Arthur Arsenne, Héloïse Francesconi, and Nicolas Brisset, the band has quickly established itself on the underground scene with a powerful and unique sonic identity.

After the release of their first album in 2020, followed by a series of concerts showcasing Toru's powerful live performances, the trio is back with a radical, captivating new opus. In 2023, the band worked with Nicolas Dick (Kill the Thrill) to record Velours Dévorant, an album that bears witness to their artistic evolution and their ability to push back the boundaries of the genre.

This new album, rich in contrasts and nuances, will be released on 14 January 2025 by a constellation of international labels: WV Sorcerer Productions (FR & CN), Badaddy Records (NL), Cruel Nature Records (UK), Aktiver Aufstand in Plastik (DE), Arsenis Solaris (FR), Araki Records (FR), and Day Off Records (FR).
